ShipRite™ Software, Inc., is a corporation located in central New York, that is made up up several buisnesses including, ShipRite Software, ShipRite Mail & Copy Centers, Speedy Signs & Graphics and University Shipping & Storage.

ShipRite.net is solely for corporate information, while ShipRiteSoftware.com is now home to sales and support for the company's main operating subsidary, ShipRite Software, Inc.

ShipRite History

In 1990, J. Mark Ford opened his first ShipRite™ Mail & Parcel Center in Cicero, NY.

By 1996, there were 3 ShipRite retail stores (N. Syracuse and Ithaca, NY were added.) To manage these stores, ShipRite™ created its own POS/Shipping software in the newest Windows technology. In 1997, ShipRite began selling ShipRIte Lite® for Windows to other retail shipping stores. This remained a part time venture until 2002, when a contract with DHL® was signed. The product created for DHL® is their popular Store2Door prodcut, and that is still in the market.

Now, several years later the company has grown into it's own corporation, with several successful businesses behind its name. Ford, as the current President / CEO, had brought his growing company, ShipRite™ Software, Inc. and its headquarters back home with him to Utica, NY.

In 2006, ShipRite™ Software, Inc. purchased an 1866 Italianate Mansion on Genesee St. in downtown Utica. With 9600 square feet, the company now has plenty of room to expand. Ford has taken on the task of restorig the former J.B. Wells mansion, one room at a time.
